論。初說因緣分　述曰。以下第三依名辨相。別釋第五分。即分為五。初因緣中復分為二。初標舉分名。後別顯其義。此初也。言因緣者是所以義所為義發起義。是因緣義。

[Treatise:] "First, the part on causes and conditions is explained." / [Exposition:] The third part below distinguishes the characteristics according to the names. It separately explains the five parts, which are divided into five. In the first, "causes and conditions," there are again two sections: first, presenting the name of the part; later, separately revealing its meaning. This is the first. / The term "causes and conditions" means the reason why, the purpose for which, and the sense of instigation. These are the meanings of causes and conditions.
