論。五者為是至出邪網故　述曰。十信初心有其三品。謂下中上。其下品人多惡業故。雖無修行而多障礙。為彼顯說修行分中禮拜諸佛懺悔等文。令其修行消惡業障。善談其心不令造惡。漸離癡慢惡業因也。

[Treatise:] "Fifth, in order to... escape the net of evil." / [Exposition:] The initial stage of the ten faiths has three grades: lower, middle, and upper. Because those of the lower grade have many evil karmas, although they do not practice, they encounter many obstacles. For their sake, it clearly explains the passages on prostrating to the Buddhas, repenting, and so forth in the practice section, causing them through practice to eliminate evil karmic hindrances and skillfully calm their minds so as not to commit evil, gradually departing from delusion, arrogance, and the causes of evil karma.
