2.64

論。修諸波羅蜜攝化眾生　述曰。此因悲立行也。修諸波羅蜜。顯六度行。攝化眾生。明四攝行。皆為利他而修行也。即以利他而為自利。是故此中二利具足。

[Treatise:] Cultivating the pāramitās and gathering and transforming sentient beings.
[Exposition:] This is establishing practice based on compassion. 'Cultivating the pāramitās' reveals the practice of the six perfections. 'Gathering and transforming sentient beings' clarifies the practice of the four means of embracing. All are cultivated for the sake of benefiting others. Benefiting others constitutes self-benefit, and therefore both benefits are fully complete here.
