論。四者計名至名言相故　釋曰。依前顛倒所取境上取分齊相更立名言而生分別。名計名字相。故楞伽云。相名常相隨而生諸妄相。故言依妄分別假名言等也。

[Treatise:] Fourth is the characteristic of attachment to names [… down to …] because of the characteristics of conventional words.
[Commentary:] Relying on the objects grasped through the preceding inversions, one grasps delimiting characteristics, further establishes conventional words, and gives rise to discrimination; this is named 'characteristic of attachment to names'. Hence the Laṅkāvatāra says: 'Characteristics and names always follow one another, giving rise to various false characteristics.' Therefore it says: 'relying on false discrimination of provisional conventional words,' and so forth.
