二苦法智者。此言文略。若具應言苦法智忍智。謂是苦法智忍無間道後所得解脫道智故。為存略故但言苦法智也。不作是釋。與方便道中苦法智何別。

"Second, the dharma-knowledge of suffering": This wording is abbreviated; in full it should say "the wisdom of the dharma-knowledge-forbearance of suffering." That is, it is the wisdom of the path of liberation obtained after the unhindered path of the dharma-knowledge-forbearance of suffering; for brevity, it simply says "dharma-knowledge of suffering." If not explained in this way, what difference would there be from the dharma-knowledge of suffering in the path of expedient means?
