於方便道中緣苦法智者。謂依教法所生苦智。與苦法忍為方便因。故苦法智名方便道。

"The dharma-knowledge taking suffering as object in the path of expedient means": That is, the knowledge of suffering produced relying on the teaching-dharmas serves as the expedient cause for the dharma-forbearance of suffering; hence, the dharma-knowledge of suffering is called the path of expedient means.
