Regarding “constantly and correctly contemplating the wisdom of all aspects”: according to the Mahāprajñāpāramitā-sūtra, three kinds of wisdom are explained: all-knowledge, knowledge of the aspects of the path, and knowledge of all aspects. Having checked the text without finding [the exact quote], I shall provisionally offer an explanation. The wisdom of the two vehicles is called “all[-knowledge],” because it is attained in common by all noble ones. The wisdom of bodhisattvas is called “[knowledge of] the aspects of the path,” because it fully realizes the true body of the path of the two kinds of emptiness. The fruit wisdom of the Buddha is called “[knowledge of] all aspects,” because it perfectly realizes the marks of all realms. Since this is the wisdom wherein the resultant virtues are perfected, one therefore “correctly contemplates the wisdom of all aspects.” There are further distinct meanings; let the wise set them forth.
