即是趣向一切智門等者。如無門戶路擁莫通。無善知識不入真道。故善智識是趣智門。
Regarding “this is the gate of approaching all-knowledge,” and so forth: just as without a gate the path is blocked and impassable, without good spiritual friends one cannot enter the true path. Therefore, the good spiritual friend is the gate of approaching [all-]knowledge.
