賢護菩薩復白阿彌陀佛言。云何念佛。彌陀佛告言。汝欲正念佛者。當念阿彌陀佛有三十二相。八十隨形好。身真金色。放大光明。坐蓮華座。眾中說一切法本來不壞。是名正念諸佛現前三昧也。

Bodhisattva Bhadrapāla further said to Amitābha Buddha: 'How should one practice mindfulness of the Buddha?' Amitābha Buddha told him, saying: 'If you wish to maintain right mindfulness of the Buddha, you should be mindful of Amitābha Buddha having the thirty-two marks and eighty minor signs of excellence, his body being of pure golden color, emitting great radiant light, seated upon a lotus throne, expounding amid the assembly that all phenomena are originally indestructible. This is called the samādhi of the direct presence of all buddhas through right mindfulness.'
