7.104

「一切行無常，生者必有死；
無生亦無死，此滅為最樂。
佛所教化人，所度已周遍；
我行道逈絕，深恨不見佛。
法界悉皆空，色身亦當爾；
無有老、病、死，無為無所生。
住壽百恒沙，亦當歸滅度；
況我天尊師，處世著穢污。」

“All conditioned things are impermanent;
Those who are born must certainly die.
There is neither birth nor death;
This cessation is the supreme bliss.
The people taught by the Buddha,
Those to be delivered have all been reached;
I traveled paths far and remote,
And deeply regret not seeing the Buddha.
The realm of phenomena is entirely empty;
The form body must also be so;
Free from old age, illness, and death,
Unconditioned, with nothing arising.
Even if one lived for a hundred Ganges sands [of kalpas],
One would still return to parinirvāṇa;
How much more so for our Heavenly Honored Master,
Who lived in the world, clad in its defilements.”
