The Buddha said: "Excellent, excellent, Great Being Mūrdharāja! What you ask is profound and difficult to fathom, greatly beneficial, saving the foolish and confused, and its merit is inexhaustible." At that time, the Bhagavat, through the power of samādhi and dhyāna meditation, stretched forth his golden arm and reached down beyond twenty-two billion Buddha-realms, lifting up the seven-jeweled divine stūpa of Śikhin Tathāgata. It was eighteen thousand yojanas in breadth and length. An outer enclosure encircled the stūpa with balustrades of the seven jewels. The ponds, water, gardens, and fruit trees were all formed of the seven jewels, and the bath-ponds in the rear garden had steps and railings of gold and silver. In the waters of those ponds was naturally the nectar of eight flavors. By the water's edge were wild ducks, geese, mandarin ducks, and hundreds and thousands of marvelous varieties of birds; their chirping and singing made mutual delight, an ultimate bliss difficult to surpass.
