At that time, Śākyamuni, named Tathāgata, again used the power of his supernormal bases to emit a great light, illuminating the world named Jvalita in the east. The country was named Adbhuta, and the Buddha was named Gambhīrārtha Tathāgata, Arhat, Samyaksaṃbuddha, Vidyācaraṇasaṃpanna, Sugata, Lokavid, Anuttarapuruṣadamyasārathi, Śāstādevamanuṣyāṇām, Buddha, Bhagavat, currently preaching the Dharma good in the beginning, middle, and end. Seeing the great light, he told his bodhisattvas: "Adorn yourselves and go to the Sahā World, to the place of Śākyamuni Buddha, to listen to the inexhaustible Dharma treasury, which will bring great benefit. Why? The bodhisattvas of that land are all bound to one more birth; there will surely be wondrous, inconceivable dharmas." The bodhisattvas respectfully received the Buddha's teaching, paid homage at that Buddha's feet, vanished all at once, and came to the Sahā World to Śākyamuni Buddha's place. Touching their heads and faces to his feet, they each sat to one side.
