30.143

「復次一切鬼神修羅道中諭諂詐稱罪報，懺悔鬼神道中擔沙負石填河塞海罪報，懺悔鬼神羅剎鳩般荼諸鬼神生噉血肉受此醜陋罪報。如是鬼神道中無量無邊一切罪報，今日稽顙向十方佛大地菩薩求哀懺悔悉令消滅。

"Furthermore, [we repent] the retributions of the karmic offenses of sycophancy, flattery, and deceit in the destiny of all ghosts, spirits, and asuras; repent the retributions of the karmic offenses in the destiny of ghosts and spirits of hauling sand and carrying stones to fill up rivers and block the sea; repent the retributions of the karmic offenses of rākṣasas, kumbhāṇḍas, and all such ghosts and spirits eating raw flesh and blood and suffering this hideous ugliness. For all measureless and boundless retributions of karmic offenses such as these in the destiny of ghosts and spirits, today bowing our heads toward the Buddhas of the ten directions and the Bodhisattvas of the Great Grounds, we beg for compassion and repent, praying that they will all be eradicated.
