"Furthermore, Śāriputra! When a practitioner enters the water samādhi, they see their own body as like a great surging spring, the three hundred and thirty-six joints flowing away with the water, and see the ground in the ten directions completely full of blue-green water, or white, or red. One should cure it urgently. As for the method for curing water, one should first contemplate the body as a maṇi jewel, an auspicious vase, covered above with golden flowers, causing the water of the ten directions to flow into the vase. This auspicious vase surges forth seven flowers, their seven stems distinct. Between each and every stem there are seven spring waters; within each and every spring there are seven golden flowers; upon each and every flower sits a Buddha, explaining the seven factors of awakening. (This is named the method for curing the water element.)
