“After the Buddha’s nirvāṇa, those who perform this contemplation will eliminate the sins of thirty kalpas of birth and death. In subsequent births, all the pores of their bodies will possess natural light, their minds will find no pleasure in attachments to home, kin, or worldly delights, and they will always delight in leaving the household life to practice the dhūta austerities. Contemplating in this way is called correct contemplation; contemplating otherwise is called incorrect contemplation.”
