1.13

奴復說喻：「我之大家，因緣合會。我如犢子，隨逐大牛。人殺大牛，犢子在邊，不能救大牛。無常之命不可得救，奈何愁憂啼哭亦無所益。」

The servant again spoke a parable: "My relationship with my master is a gathering brought about by causes and conditions. I am like a calf following behind a great cow. When someone slaughters the great cow, the calf stands beside it and cannot save the great cow. An impermanent life cannot be saved; what is the use of sorrowing, grieving, and weeping? It would be of no benefit at all."
