"Kulaputra, the intrinsic nature of perfect enlightenment is not an existent nature of natures; it arises in accordance with all natures, without grasping and without realization; within true reality, there are in truth no bodhisattvas and no sentient beings. Why is this? Bodhisattvas and sentient beings are all illusory transformations; because illusory transformations have ceased, there is no one who grasps or realizes. Just as the eye organ does not see itself, its nature is inherently impartial. There is no one who is impartial: sentient beings are deluded and inverted, unable to eliminate all illusory transformations, and within illusory effort regarding what has ceased and what has not ceased, distinctions are manifested. If one attains the Tathāgata's accordance with quiescence, in truth there is no quiescence and no one who is quiescent.
