وکائما القصر المنیف أجاده داؤد من طبع الحدید المحکم و کائما ابراجه3 تصلت بابراج السماء فریفت با لأنجم زهی فرخنده قصری کز لطافت جهان را نسخهآ خلد برین بود خم طاق بلندش چون مه نو ز رفعت با فلک پهلو همی سود توانستی ز سقفش مردم آسان رخ خورشید را کردن گل اندود

And as if its towers reached the constellations of heaven and were linked with the stars.
How auspicious a palace, which in its elegance / was an exemplar of the highest paradise for the world!
The curve of its high arch, like the new moon, / in its elevation brushed its side against heaven.
A man could easily from its roof / daub the face of the sun with clay.
