"From where, Venerable Sir, are two-sensed beings reborn?" Up to:
"Venerable Sir, when an earth-bodied being is capable of being reborn among two-sensed beings, in what lifespan duration, Venerable Sir, would it be reborn?"
The attainment of the earth-bodied being is just the same, up to: in terms of time, at the minimum two antarmuhūrtas, at the maximum a countable number of rebirths—for so much time it may experience [this], for so much time it may undergo transmigration. Thus in those very four variations is the saṃvedha; in the remaining five, likewise eight rebirths. Thus up to: together with a four-sensed being, there are a countable number of rebirths in four, and eight rebirths in five. Together with five-sensed animals and humans, likewise eight rebirths. They are not reborn among the gods. One should understand the lifespan duration and the saṃvedha.
"That is so, Venerable Sir! That is so, Venerable Sir!"

"From where, Venerable Sir, are three-sensed beings reborn?" Thus for three-sensed beings, it is just like the chapter on two-sensed beings, with the distinction that one should understand the lifespan duration and the saṃvedha. Together with fire-bodied beings in the third variation, at the maximum two hundred and eight days and nights; together with two-sensed beings in the third variation, at the maximum forty-eight years plus one hundred and ninety-six days and nights; together with three-sensed beings in the third variation, at the maximum three hundred and ninety-two days and nights. Thus it should be known everywhere up to sentient humans.

"From where, Venerable Sir, are four-sensed beings reborn?" Just as is the chapter on three-sensed beings, exactly so also for four-sensed beings, with the distinction that one should understand the lifespan duration and the saṃvedha.
