camarassa ṇaṃ bhaṃte! asuriṃdassa asuraranno kai āyarakkhadevasāhassīo pannattāo?
goyamā! cattāri causaṭṭhīo āyarakkhadevasāhassīo pannattāo| te ṇaṃ āyarakkhā–vaṇṇao|
evaṃ savvesiṃ iṃdāṇaṃ jassa jattiyā āyarakkhā te bhāṇiyavvā|
sevaṃ bhaṃte! sevaṃ bhaṃte! tti|

"Venerable Sir, how many thousands of guardian deities are stated for Camara, the Indra of the Asuras, king of the Asuras?"
"Gautama, four [times] sixty-four thousands of guardian deities are stated. Those guardian deities—[description as before].
In this manner, for all the Indras, however many guardian deities each has, that should be stated."
"That is so, Venerable Sir! That is so, Venerable Sir!"
