kati ṇaṃ bhaṃte! puḍhavīo pannattāo?
goyamā! satta puḍhavīo pannattāo, taṃ jahā–rayaṇappabhā jāva ahesattamā| rayaṇappabhāīṇaṃ āvāsā bhāṇiyavvā jāva ahesattamāe| evaṃ jattiyā āvāsā te bhāṇiyavvā jāva–
kati ṇaṃ bhaṃte! anuttaravimānā pannattā?
goyamā! paṃca anuttaravimānā pannattā, taṃ0 vijae, vejayaṃte, jayaṃte, aparājie, savvaṭṭhasiddhe|

"How many earths, Venerable Sir, are stated?"
"Gautama, seven earths are stated, namely: Ratnaprabhā up to the lower seventh. The abodes of Ratnaprabhā and the others up to the lower seventh should be stated. In this manner, however many abodes there are, they should be stated up to:
'How many Anuttara celestial abodes, Venerable Sir, are stated?'
'Gautama, five Anuttara celestial abodes are stated, namely: Vijaya, Vaijayanta, Jayanta, Aparājita, [and] Sarvārthasiddha.'"
