In the city of Rājagṛha, up to, he said thus: “How many kinds, Venerable Sir, of mundane jīvas are declared?”
“Gautama! Six kinds of mundane jīvas are declared, namely: earth-bodied, up to mobile-bodied. In this way, as in the Jīvājīvābhigama, up to: a single jīva in a single time-instant performs a single action (kriyā), namely, either the action of right faith (samyaktva-kriyā) or the action of wrong faith (mithyātva-kriyā).”
“That is so, Venerable Sir! That is so, Venerable Sir!”
