[55] atha tatra janānāṃ vimarśaḥ,
harer eṣā prāptir yadi bhavati nidrāvakalitā
tadā śoko' py eṣa svayam ayati tatraiva tulanām |
asau jāgrad-bhūtā sphurati yadi vā tarhi nitarām
abhīṣṭaṃ sampannaṃ katham api na śarma-pratihatiḥ || [śikhariṇī]

Then, this was the deliberation of the people there:
"If this attainment of Hari is conceived in a dream,
then this grief also straightway matches it there.
Or if it shines as an event in waking reality, then utterly
our desired end has been accomplished; by no means is our happiness obstructed." // 1.13.50
