[81] tās tu tatra sāpatrapa-cittāś ca parama-bhīti-bhittās tathākāryatayāvadhārya paśyata ke' pi śabdāyante iti bālānāṃ dṛṣṭīḥ pratārya patir eva devatā iti vicārya sa-parihāsa-vilāsa-vyājatas tam eva namaścakruḥ-svāmin, namas tubhyam iti |

[81] But they, with minds abashed and broken by great fear, concluded that it had to be done thus, and misdirecting the boys' glances with the words, "Look, some people are making a noise!", they considered that their husband alone is their deity, and under the pretext of playful jest, they bowed down to him alone, saying, "O Lord, obeisance to You!"
