utkarṇatā-samavakarṇana-vastra-veṣā-
dhānāni yā vivaśatā nijagāra tāṃ ca |
tūrṇir yadā nigirati sma tadā murārir
labdha-kṣaṇaḥ praṇayinī-valitaṃ nililye || [vasantatilakā] ||

The helplessness that had swallowed up the perking of ears, the listening, and the putting on of garments and ornaments— / when haste swallowed that up, Murāri, seizing the moment, / hid away embraced by his beloved.
