tataś ca-
yās tu tṛṣṇākulatayā kṛṣṇa-bhāva-vaśaṃ gatāḥ |
kṛṣṇāyante sma tā eva sarva-pālakatām itāḥ || [anuṣṭubh]
And then: / Those who, agitated by thirst, fell under the sway of Kṛṣṇa's mood, / they indeed acted as Kṛṣṇa, having attained the role of protector of all.
