yadyapi vanitā-vaśatām antar yātas tathāpy asau kṛṣṇaḥ | bhajati snigdhān anyān sat-puruṣāṇām iyaṃ śailī || [āryā] ||

Although inwardly subdued by the women, / this Kṛṣṇa nevertheless honors his other affectionate companions; / such is the nature of noble persons.
