[58] tataś ca pūtanāṃ niścitya,
tasyāḥ surā vakṣasi lagnam enaṃ
smeraṃ gṛhītākṛśa-cūcukāgram |
asya prabhāvāvali-vijña-cittāḥ
sarve samantāj jahasur vilokya || [indravajrā]

[58] And then, recognizing Pūtanā,
seeing him clinging to her chest,
smiling, holding her large nipple,
the gods, whose minds knew the array of his powers,
laughed aloud on every side. ||1.5.19
