athottāna-śāyī sa sarvātiśāyī
nijāmbā-yaśodaḥ sva-tāta-pramodaḥ |
sva-nakṣatra-bhāte babhūva prabhāte
balenātisāṅgaḥ parāvartitāṅgaḥ || [bhūjaṅgaprayātā]

Then, lying on his back, surpassing all,
bestowing fame upon his own mother and delight upon his father,
at dawn, as his own constellation shone,
with all his limbs vigorous, he turned his body over by his own strength. //
