vedān uddharate jaganti vahate bhūgolam udbibhrate daityaṃ dārayate baliṃ chalayate kṣatra-kṣayaṃ kurvate |
paulastyaṃ jayate halaṃ kalayate kāruṇyam ātanvate mlecchān mūrcchayate daśākṛti-kṛte kṛṣṇāya tubhyaṃ namaḥ ||

To you who rescued the Vedas, who bear the worlds, who lifted up the terrestrial globe, who tore the demon asunder, who deceived Bali, who brought about the destruction of the warriors,
who conquered the descendant of Pulastya, who wield the plow, who spread forth compassion, who confound the barbarians, who fashioned the ten forms—homage to you, O Kṛṣṇa!
