1.10.2
vadasi yadi kiñcid api danta-ruci-kaumudī harati dara-timiram atighoram |
sphurad-adhara-sīdhave tava vadana-candramā rocayatu locana-cakoraṃ ||
If you speak even a little, the moonlight of your teeth's radiance will dispel the terrible darkness of fear;
let the moon of your face delight the cakora bird of my eyes with the nectar of your trembling lip.
1.10.2.p1
priye cāru-śīle muñca mayi mānam anidānaṃ |
sapadi madanānalo dahati mama mānasam
dehi mukha-kamala-madhu-pānaṃ ||dhruva-padaṃ ||
Beloved of lovely nature, abandon your causeless pride toward me!
At once the fire of Madana burns my mind;
give me the drink of the nectar of your lotus face! // Refrain
