8.1

atha svamāyākṛtamandirojjvalaṃ jvalanmaṇi vyomasadāṃ sanātanam
surāṅganā gopaticāpagopuraṃ puraṃ vanānāṃ vijihīrṣayā jahuḥ //

Then the celestial women, wishing to sport in the groves,
left the city of the sky-dwellers—
radiant with mansions made by their own magic,
blazing with jewels, eternal, with archways curved like Indra's bow.
