na laṅghayāmāsa mahājanānāṃ śirāṃsi naivoddhatimājagāma /
aceṣṭatāṣṭāpadabhūmireṇuḥ padāhato yatsadṛśaṃ garimṇaḥ //
It did not rise above the heads of noble men, / nor did it rise into the air at all; / trampled underfoot, the dust of the golden ground acted in a manner worthy of its weight.
