Flicking away your tears time and again with the nail of your fingertip, why
do you weep in silence, angry woman? You will weep much louder, wailing aloud,
when your lover, grown despondent of conciliation
as your amorous petulance exceeds all bounds through the advice of slanderers, turns indifferent.
