prātaḥ prātarupāgatena janitā nirnidritā cakṣuṣor
mandāyāṃ mayi gauravavyapagamād utpāditaṃ lāghavam |
kiṃ mugdhe na mayā kṛtaṃ ramaṇadhīrmuktā tvayā gamyatāṃ
dusthaṃ tiṣṭhasi yacca pathyamadhunā kartāsmi tacchroṣyasi ||29||(33)

Coming dawn after dawn, sleeplessness was brought to my eyes;
since I grew faint, by the departure of respect, contempt was produced.
