utpādayām āsa tadā putraṃ vai rājaputrikā
tasyāpatyaṃ mahārājo babhūvailaḥ purūravāḥ
urvaśyāṃ jajñire yasya putrāḥ sapta mahātmanaḥ //

Then the king's daughter gave birth to a son. / Her offspring was the great king Purūravas, son of Ilā, / to whom seven great-souled sons were born of Urvaśī.
