yannālakandadalakesaravadvipakaṃ nīlotpalasyatadapi prathitaṃ pṛthivyām |
sarpiścatuṣkuvalayaṃ sahiraṇyapatraṃ medhyaṃ gavāmapi bhavet kimumānuṣāṇām ||
That which is cooked with the stalk, bulb, petals, and filaments of the blue water-lily is also celebrated throughout the earth:
ghee prepared with the four parts of the kuvalaya along with gold foil is intellect-promoting even for cattle, how much more so for human beings!
