wheat promotes healing, is sweet, gives stability, and is laxative; / nandīmukhī is wholesome, cold, astringent, sweet, and light; // thus ends the group of awned grains; // their specific operations are like the attachments of water, fire, time, and iron with the moon, sun, and magnetic stone; and thus even when the hands and feet, which have many vital points, are cut off, there is naturally no death; // those incurable ones that have become established are managed by the strength of the digestive fire and other factors; // ghee prepared with balā should be administered, or with the meat broth of carnivorous animals; // frothy, slipping, and inability to retain are due to defects of the enema bladder;
