kaṣāyas tv adhikaḥ kiṃcit ṣaṣṭikāḥ śālibhiḥ samāḥ | mahādoṣāḥ suguravaḥ pāṭalāvrīhayas tathā ||

Astringent [qualities] are somewhat greater; ṣaṣṭika rices are equal to śāli rices; / very harmful and very heavy are pāṭalā vrīhi rices.
