athātreyasya bhavagato vacanamanuniśamya punareva vāmakaḥ kāśipatiruvāca bhagavantamātreyaṃ bhagavan saṃpannimittajasya puruṣasya vipannimittajānāṃ ca rogāṇaṃ kimabhivṛddhikāraṇamiti //

Then, having listened to the word of the blessed Ātreya, Vāmaka the king of Kāśī spoke once more to the blessed Ātreya: “Blessed one, what is the cause of growth for man, who is born from the cause of [elemental] perfection, and for diseases, which are born from the cause of [elemental] impairment?”
