ūrdhvaṃ prāṇā hy utkrāmanti yūnaḥ sthavira āyati
pratyutthānābhivādābhyāṃ punas tān pratipadyate //

For the vital airs of a young man mount upwards to leave his body when an elder approaches; but by rising to meet him and saluting he recovers them.
