1.13

amīmāṃsā bahiḥśāstrāḥ ye cānye vedavarjitāḥ | yat te brūyur na tat kuryād vedād dharmo vidhīyate

Those outside Mīmāṃsā, who follow external treatises, and whoever else are devoid of the Veda: / what they say, one should not do, for duty is ordained by the Veda.

Those ignorant of Mīmāṃsā, those outside the treatises and others without the Veda: what they say one should not do; dharma is prescribed from the Veda.
