dvārasya dairghyād dviguṇaṃ daṇḍaṃ vā parikalpayet /
dhvajayaṣṭirdevagṛhe aiśānyāṃ vāyavethavā //
Or one should design the staff twice the length of the doorway. / The flag-pole in the god's house should be in the north-east or in the north-west.
