dhyāyettu varuṇaṃ yuktaṃ gauryā nadanadīgaṇaiḥ /
oṃ varuṇāya namo 'bhyarcya tataḥ sānnidhyamācaret //
He should meditate on Varuṇa united with Gaurī and the hosts of rivers and streams;
having worshipped with "Om, obeisance to Varuṇa," he should then effect his presence.
