devaṃ na nindecchāstrāṇi nirmālyādi na laṅghayet /
śivāgnigurupūjā ca kartavyā jīvitāvadhi //
"He must not revile God or the scriptures, nor step over leftovers [of offerings]; / and worship of Śiva, fire, and guru must be performed as long as life lasts.
