yasyāṃ vai śrūyamāṇāyāṃ kṛṣṇe paramapūruṣe /
bhaktirutpadyate puṃsaḥ śokamohabhayāpahā //
7. Indeed, when this work is listened to, and studied, devotion to the Perfect Person, Sri Krishna, is engendered in man—a devotion which is powerful enough to remove all grief, wrong ideas and fears.
