abhyasen manasā śuddhaṃ trivṛdbrahmākṣaraṃ param /
mano yacchej jitaśvāso brahmabījam avismaran //
17. He should repeat in his own mind, the great and holy Pranava (syllable) composed of three letters; and also restrain the mind, having controlled the breath and revolving the same syllable in the mind (which is known as the seed of Brahman).
