tadvīkṣya vyasanaṃ tāsāṃ kṛpayā bhṛśapīḍitaḥ /
sarvabhūtasuhṛddeva idamāha satīṃ priyām //

36. Sri Suka said:—Observing that distress of His creatures, oppressed with mercy (full of mercy), the Lord who is the friend of all beings, spoke thus unto His beloved consort.
