tṛtīyāṃśaṃ brahmakāṇḍaṃ vadanti teṣāṃ madhye tvantimoyaṃ variṣṭhaḥ /
tṛtīyāṃśaśravaṇātpuṇyamāhustulyaṃ puṇyaṃ bhāgavatasya viprāḥ //
They call the third section the theological section (brahmakāṇḍa); among them, this final one is the highest. / From listening to the third section, O brahmins, they declare the merit to be equal to the merit of the Bhāgavata.
