śāstrajñānānnāśameti hyavidyā na saṃśayo hariṇā caikyameti /
evaṃ brūṣe yadi vādatkhagendra vakṣyehaṃ te tatra yuktiṃ śṛṇu tvam //

Through the knowledge of the scriptures, ignorance is indeed destroyed—there is no doubt—and one attains oneness with Hari. / If you speak thus by way of argument, O King of Birds, I shall tell you the reasoning regarding that; listen to it.
